Sanjiaoshu (BL 22)

Location

1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of L1 [Xuanshu (GV 5)].

Indications
  • Borborygmus, abdominal distension, indigestion, dysentery
  • Vomiting, diarrhea, edema
  • Pain and stiffness of the lower back
Applications
  • Moves and regulates the San Jiao, regulates the Spleen and Stomach
  • Regulates the water passages, promotes urination, resolves dampness
Balance Method:
