Houding (GV 19)

Location

On the posterior midline, 5.5 cun anterior to the posterior hairline, 1.5 cun directly above Qiangjian (GV 18).

Indications
  • Headache, vertigo, visual dizziness
  • Mania, epilepsy
Applications
  • Eliminates wind, alleviates pain
  • Calms the spirit, soothes the Liver and Heart
Techniques

Needle subcutaneously 0.3-0.5 cun.
