Shuixian (T 66.15)

Location

This point is on the KI channel, 2 cun directly inferior or distal to Taixi (KI 3), which is posterior to the medial malleolus, in the depression between the tip of the medial malleolus and the tendo calcaneus.

Indications
Primary: 

Nephritis, back pain due to Kidney deficiency, edema of the limbs, proteinuria

Secondary: 
  • Cataracts
  • Pre-eclampsia, postpartum fever

Techniques
