Tongshan (T 88.02)

Location

This point is on the anterior midline of the thigh, 7 cun above the upper margin of the patella, or 2 cun proximal to Tongguan (T 88.01).

Indications
Primary: 

All heart diseases:

  • Coronary heart disorder, congestive heart failure, arrhythmia, rheumatic heart disease, palpitations, fainting sensation and lightheadedness, vertigo, acute pericarditis, pericardium disorders, cerebral ischemia, poor blood circulation, chest pain, limb pain

Nausea and vomiting

 

Contraindications: 
Bilateral needling is contraindicated
