Zhangmen (LR 13)

Location

On the lateral side of the abdomen, anterior and inferior to the free end of the 11th rib.

Indications
  • Abdominal distention, borborygmus, indigestion
  • Pain in the hypochondriac region
  • Vomiting, diarrhea
Applications
  • Spreads the Liver qi and regulates qi
  • Harmonizes the Liver and Spleen
  • Strengthens the Spleen
  • Regulates the middle and lower jiao
