Tianzong (T 44.10)

Location

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 44.10 Tianzong, is on the LI channel, 9 cun proximal to the cubital crease, in the depression between the lateral border of the humerus and the m. biceps brachii, or 3 cun proximal to Dizong (T 44.09). Some sources indicate this point is on the LU channel.

Indications
Primary: 

Leukorrhea, vaginitis, genital itching, red or white vaginal discharge

Secondary: 
  • Urogenital pain, vaginal pain, lower abdominal pain
  • Body odor, underarm odor
  • Leg pain (medial), calf distension, calf swelling, calf pain
  • Post-polio syndrome, infantile paralysis
  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Headache from cardiac insufficiency
