Location

On the dorsum of the foot, in the depression distal to the junction of the 1st and 2nd metatarsal bones.

Indications
  • Headache, dizziness, vertigo, insomnia, depression
  • Epilepsy, infantile convulsion
  • Congestion, swelling and pain of the eye, deviation of the mouth
  • Hypochondriac pain, pain in the anterior aspect of the medial malleolus
  • Uterine bleeding, hernia, enuresis, retention of urine

  • Clears the head and eyes
  • Spreads Liver qi, subdues Liver yang, extinguishes wind
  • Nourishes Liver blood and yin
  • Regulates menstruation and the lower jiao
