Huanmen (Ex-B11)

Location

1.5 cun lateral to the prominence of the 5th thoracic vertebra spinous process.

Indications
  • Tidal fever, night sweating, irritibility and heat, steaming bone disorder
  • Poor appetite, fatigue
  • Cough, dyspnea
Applications
  • Nourishes yin, tonifies qi
  • Clears heat
Techniques

Puncture obliquely 0.5-0.7 cun. Moxibustion is applicable.

Remarks

Indicated for the 5 Taxations and 7 Injuries described in the Inner Classic.
