Kuangu (Ex-LE1)

Location

1.5 cun lateral and medial to Liangqiu (ST 34).

Indications
  • Knee pain, post-stroke paralysis, pain and weakness of the legs, knee redness and swelling
Applications
  • Opens channels, relieves pain
Techniques

Perpendicular needling 0.5-1.2 cun or needle towards the knee at a 15 degree angle for 1.8 cun. Moxa is applicable.
