Sanshen (T 44.27)*

Location

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 44.27* Sanshen, is a three-point set on the TH channel, on the lateral aspect of the upper arm. These points are 1.5 cun, 2.5 cun, and 3.5 cun proximal to the olecranon when the elbow is flexed.

Indications
Primary: 

Kidney deficiency:

  • Impotence, premature ejaculation
  • Back soreness, back weakness
Secondary: 
  • Kidney stone, chronic nephritis, proteinuria
  • Dry throat, bronchitis, cough in the elderly
  • Throat cancer, lung cancer
