Erzhong (T 77.06)

Location

This point is between the GB and ST channels, 5 cun proximal to the lateral malleolus and 1 cun anterior to the fibula. It is 2 cun above Yizhong (T 77.05).

Indications
Primary: 
  • Hyperthyroidism (caused by heart disease), bulging of the eyes, enlarged thyroid, tonsillitis, liver disease, rib pain, teeth clenching at night, migraine
  • Breast disorders: mastitis, fibrocystic breast disease, breast tumors, breast cancer, breast pain
  • Tumors and cancer: brain, breast, esophageal
Secondary: 
  • Meningitis
  • Post-concussion symptoms
  • Spleen diseases, abdominal mass
