Location

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 33.08 Shouwujin, is between the TH and SI channels, 6.5 cun proximal to the wrist, 0.5 cun ulnar to the TH channel.

Indications
Primary: 

All acute pain

  • Sciatica, upper back pain, back pain, calf pain, calf distension, calf cramp, numbness of hands and feet, leg pain
Secondary: 
  • Headache, abdominal pain
  • Drug or food poisoning
  • Early stage of carbuncles, furuncles, boils, tumor, cancer
Contraindications: 
Bilateral needling is contraindicated
