On the posterior of the ear, this point is on the upper 1/3 of the superior edge of the dorsal helix. It is approximately at the same location as the top point of the auricular Three Shoulder Points in Li-Chun Huang's Auricular Medicine.
Use thinnest gauge possible and needle 0.1 to 0.2 cun.
