Location

This point is on the SP channel, 1.5 cun inferior to Yinlingquan (SP 9), which is in the depression of the lower border of the medial condyle of the tibia on the medial aspect of the lower leg.

Indications
Primary: 
  • Back pain due to Kidney deficiency, sciatica, headache, upper back pain, interscapular pain, frequent urination at night
  • Acid reflux, nausea
  • Deviation of the eye, astigmatism, supraorbital pain, sinus bone pain
  • Dizziness
  • Neurosis, epilepsy
Secondary: 
  • Frozen shoulder, limited range of motion, finger numbness
  • High uric acid levels
  • Heartburn, mei he qi (plum-pit qi), epigastric pain, chest pain
  • Disorders of the eyes: floaters, near-sightedness, tearing of the eyes
  • Insomnia, hysteria
  • Diseases of the blood, anemia, diabetes
Contraindications:
