Sanzhong (T 77.07)

Location

This point is between the GB and ST channels, 7 cun proximal to the lateral malleolus and 1 cun anterior to the fibula. It is 2 cun above Erzhong (T 77.06).

Indications
Primary: 
  • Hyperthyroidism (caused by heart disease), bulging of the eyes, enlarged thyroid, tonsillitis, liver disease, rib pain, teeth clenching at night, migraine
  • Post-stroke complications, deviation of the eyes and mouth, TMJ, post-concussion symptoms
  • Breast disorders: mastitis, fibrocystic breast disease, breast tumors, breast cancer, breast pain
  • Spleen disorders: splenomegaly, abdominal mass
  • Tumors and cancer: brain, breast, esophageal
