Dizong (T 44.09)

Location

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 44.09 Dizong, is 1 cun distal to Binao (LI 14) and 6 cun proximal to the cubital crease, in the depression between the lateral border of the humerus and the m. biceps brachii. Some books indicate this point is on the LU channel.

Indications
Primary: 
  • Cardiovascular disorders:
    • Any cardiopathy, including coronary heart disease, palpitations, arteriosclerosis, heart attack, angina, congestive heart failure
    • Cerebral vascular occlusion, embolism, cerebral thrombosis
  • Stiffness of the tongue, hemiplegia, facial paralysis
  • Yang collapse
