Yanhuang (T 11.23)

Location

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 11.23 Yanhuang, is located on the palmar aspect of the little finger, along the midline of the middle phalanx (line C). Locate this point halfway between the PIP and DIP joints.

Notes:

For palmar finger points, measure from the palmar digital crease to the proximal interphalangeal crease rather than from MCP to PIP joints.
This finger line system for locating Zone 11 points is adopted from "Advanced Tung Style Acupuncture: Dao Ma" by James Maher.

Indications

Primary:

Jaundice with yellow eyes, hepatitis

Secondary:

Dizziness, low blood pressure
Headache, TMJ disorder, eye disorders, orbital pain
Finger pain
