Fenzhixia (T DT.02)

Location

This point is on the SI channel, 1.5 cun inferior and 0.5 cun medial to the inferior junction of the humerus and scapula, close to Jianzhen (SI 9).

Indications
Primary: 
  • Poisoning (drug, medication, gas, radiation, food, bites by toxic animals such as snakes, scorpions, centipedes, spiders, bees), suicide attempts by taking poison (mild cases only)
  • Foul breath, armpit odor
  • Generalized pruritus, rash, itching
  • Rabies
  • Painful urination, lin zheng (dysuria syndrome), sexually transmitted disease with urinary dysfunction
Secondary: 
  • Mastitis
  • Diabetes
